Choosing the best carpet comes down to knowing and understanding which amenities and characteristics work better for you and your household.

For example, a loop and high twist carpet will perform much better n a high traffic area or on stairs and will not mat down and crush as easy or often as a shag.

Carpet is most of the time available in 12’ only. Some Manufacturers produce , 15’ and sometimes 13’ widths.

Unless the room to be carpeted is narrower than these widths, the carpet will be seamed.

With looped or low-profile patterned carpet you may have visible or peaked seams.

We do our best to try and hide the seam as best as we can.

Higher quality carpet will typically have greater pile density, and tighter twist construction, which will result in better durability. Carpet also feels warm underfoot and reduces household noise.

Another topic we want to touch on is carpet color. once a carpet is installed in a new home, it will often look lighter than the sample you saw in the store. This is a natural optical effect and you should be aware of this when making a carpet color selection.
